Appreciation of the entire system with the award in the Best Product category underlines the creation of a model safe pedestrian crossing in the Podkarpackie company.

The Podkarpackie Economic Award is an award given to the winners of the competition organized by the Business Promotion Center in cooperation with the Podkarpackie Voivode and the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. The competition was attended by companies operating in the Podkarpackie Voivodship for at least two years, regardless of their size or legal form. An additional event taking place as part of the Podkarpackie Economic Congress will be the presentation of products at the “Tasty because Podkarpackie” food fair.

This year’s Gala of the Przedsiębiorstwo Fair Play 2022 program has become a great celebration of ethics in business. November 25 it’s raining 2022 in Warsaw, for the 25th time, Przedsiębiorstwo Fair Play certificates were awarded – one of the most prestigious business awards

in Poland. In the presence of guests – not only entrepreneurs, but also representatives of authorities, business organizations and the media, awards and certificates were presented to 191 companies from all over Poland that successfully passed the verification in the field of application of the principles of business ethics.

Van Berde is awarded the title of Fair Play Enterprise almost every year, which we are very proud of. After last year’s title of Certificate of Quality, this year we deserved the Gold Certificate – we are very proud of it, pointed out the director of Van Berde, Jarosław Zubiel.

Targi INTERTRAFFIC 2022 odbywały się od 29 marca do 1 kwietnia 2022. Stoisko Van Berde liczące 70 m2 obsługiwało ponad 20 osób. Byli to pracownicy z

Polski, a także z oddziałów Van Berde z Litwy, Łotwy i Czech. Odwiedzający stoisko Van Berde mieli okazję bezpośrednio zapoznać się z szeroką ofertą podczas bezpośrednich rozmów, ponad to stoisko wyposażone w wiele produktów Van Berde przyciągało uwagę wielu osób.

Każdy odwiedzający mógł zabrać ze sobą katalog produktowy oraz zobaczyć i dotknąć nowości. Wyświetlane były filmy prezentujące produkcje wyrobów z recyklingu. Filmy obrazowały jak odpady z recyklingu są wykorzystywane do tworzenia elementów BRD, takich jak podstawy do znaków czy progi zwalniające.

– Międzynarodowe Targi INTERTRAFFIC 2022 to wydarzenie, na którym można nawiązać nowe kontakty, a także spotkać się z firmami z Europy, z którymi na co dzień współpracujemy. W tym roku, po przerwie związanej z pandemią, frekwencja była rekordowa. Spędziliśmy w Amsterdamie bardzo intensywny czas. The awards were presented on October 27, 2021 at the G2A Arena Exhibition and Congress Center of the Podkarpackie Province in Jasionka.

We were honored with the title of laureate for our innovative WIVA system, patented by Van Berde under the number ZWW 001128375-0001.

The WIVA system consists of a rubber base and a flexible sign (so-called beacon).

The system is used for securing road works. It is modern innovative solution, which is proved by the high quality of the product.

The materials used in production ensure high standard and durability of the WIVA system.

The base is made of recycled rubber compound.

Moreover, the sign is made of highly flexible material which increases its durability and resistance to weather conditions and impacts. The red sign is covered with white and red Class 1 or 2 reflective film, which makes it perfectly visible on the road.

The design of the WIVA sign and base makes it impossible to replace any of the elements.

The products are manufactured in a factory in Poland in compliance with production and quality control standards.

The bases and signs are made of material obtained in the recycling process.

This also means that the system can be recycled again.

The base (600x400x105 mm) is equipped with special suction cups on the underside to prevent it from moving. The sign is made of highly flexible polypropylene. When placed in the base it can be additionally fastened at the bottom of the base, which prevents it from falling out.

The structure of the bases also enables their safe storage.

The euro pallet can hold up to 50 bases.

Some materials used to produce the WIVA system can be recycled.

During the Congress, which took place on 1-2 July in Berlin, VAN BERDE received the MADE IN POLAND award.

#KONGRESMADEINPOLAND is organized by the Polish Agency for Entrepreneurship to promote the national economy. The congress aims to highlight the potential of Polish manufactures, distributors and service providers who have a significant impact on the shape and development of the Polish economy in various industries.

Representatives of key Polish and German enterprises and institutions involved in Polish-German trade and direct investments were invited to participate.

At this prestigious event our company Van Berde – Zubiel, Pogoda Sp. k. was awarded for its significant impact on improving road safety.

The congress is attended by over 100 representatives of employers’ organizations, entrepreneurs, social security organizations, scientists and diplomats from both countries. The guests participate in several panel discussions on various issues including Poland’s macroeconomic success compared to other EU members and the EU’s climate and energy policy as an opportunity for trade and investments in modernization in Poland.

The event demonstrates the growing importance of Poland, the countries of the V4 Group, Central and Eastern Europe and the Three Seas Initiative for the German economy.
During the closing ceremony, Ambassador Przyłębski honored outstanding businessmen and economic activists with “Made in Poland” medals.
